LinkedIn Marketing
“LinkedIn is a business and employment-focused social media platform that works through websites and mobile apps. It was launched on May 5, 2003. Since December 2016, it has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Microsoft.”
Of all the Social Media platforms LinkedIn is arguably the most used from a business to business sales perspective. LinkedIn has a range of features that are designed around allowing you to search and find new business and potential clients and simultaneously keep in contact with these and current clients through articles, business pages and direct messages. LinkedIn is not just focused on sales, having several features that allows you to find potential new staff and allow customers or potential customers to contact you directly to discuss your offer.
Although having all the features above, LinkedIn obviously suffers from an overtly direct sales perspective, meaning that there is lots of competition and oversaturation leading to potentially customers being ‘burnt out’ from being sold to before you even come into contact with them. Because of this we have put together this module with some small, easy steps initially designing your profile and later with the type and style of the content you can use across your personal profile and your business page.
Some highlights of the module include:
- Setting up your profile
- Value Proposition
- LinkedIn Connections
- LinkedIn InMail
- LinkedIn Groups
- LinkedIn Posts
- LinkedIn Articles
- Groups (continued)
- Company page
